My Forms are hand made with the uniqueness the wood provides. Some have been sealed with a waterproof epoxy in order to hold water.

The wood that I use for my work is wood that is being repurposed. I find my wood from various sources. Mostly from family and friends with trees that are removed. This usually includes Florida, Tennessee and Maryland. Occasionally my wife and I will find piece while out on our bike rides. We have a rack to strap them in on. If you see a piece that has lots of dark lines throughout it is called “spalted”. This is caused from a piece of wood that has been lying in some water for a period of time. It is quite beautiful to see something come out of such a gnarly looking log.
